Time the departure, not just the photograph
Boarding around sixty to ninety minutes before sunset normally creates a better sequence: daylight in the Marina, warmer light near JBR or Bluewaters and city lights on the return. Exact timing depends on the date, marina and intended route.
A two-hour charter works close to the Marina. Choose longer when Palm Jumeirah, an anchor stop or dinner forms part of the plan. The captain adapts the route to safe conditions on the day.

What to bring
Light layers, secure footwear and a compact personal bag make boarding easier. Tell the concierge about mobility needs, young children or a planned photographer. Optional dining and beverages should be confirmed in advance rather than carried aboard at the last moment.
