01
Choose calm over complexity
A smaller yacht can feel more personal and makes it easier for the crew to coordinate a private setup. Consider shade, seating, footwear, seasickness and whether a photographer should be visible or waiting at a planned position.
Sunset time changes through the year and marine conditions can affect the exact backdrop. We plan a window and route rather than promising that the yacht will stop at one precise coordinate at one precise minute.
02
Keep the plan confidential
Use one contact method that will not reveal the surprise. Flowers, a simple table, music, photography or dinner can be itemised separately. The concierge records the cue and communicates it to the crew without adding unnecessary people to the conversation.
